Note that the COECSA written exam is a pre-requisite to sitting the COECSA Fellowship Exam for any ophthalmologist who would like to become Fellows of the College and/or obtain the COECSA Specialist in Ophthalmology qualification. The exam is also open to any Ophthalmologist who simply wish to assess their ophthalmic knowledge.
The January, 2026 COECSA online written exams are scheduled for 23rd January, 2026. The exams will be conducted online at accredited examination centres in various regional countries.
